Prestonpandemonium III
The 2008 Prestonpandemonium will take place on 31st May, between 12 and 3 at the usual venue, the Prestoungrange Gothenburg, CAMRA awarded pub, arts venue and microbrewery.
This time we are part of the annual Three Harbours Arts Festival which brings thousands of people to the town looking for art in unusual places.
Already confirmed for this year we have:
Creators
Nulsh -- long time friend of Prestonpandemonium, artist of our Octofanboy logo and author of Barking Dog's Bad Day and many other small press comics
Ben Clark -- cartoonist behind small press funnies Lenny Biscuits, Griefbringer and Shabby Tales
Paul von Scott -- publisher and editor of Omnivistacope and Solar Wind, the galaxy's funniest comic
Jeremy Briggs -- comics historian and contributor to Comics International, Down the Tubes and Bear Alley
Graeme Neil Reid -- illustrator and comic artist who's work has appeared in the prestigious Negative Burn and his own collection One Last Time
Tom Cochrane and Alan Tanner -- the creative team behind the soon to be published Fat Man graphic novel, an ambitious 350 page time travel thriller. Alan has a long history in comics including the infamous Rupert the Bear / Robert Crumb mashup for Oz magazine
Gavin Inglis -- multitalented author of Crap Ghosts and several comics
And an exhibition of artwork by Malcy Duff. Malcy is the prolific talent responsible for It's Just Ketchup, The Blackest Gnome, The Banana / Skin Joke and a 52 Second Silence for Topsy, a tribute to the Coney Island elephant executed in 1903 as punishment for killing three men and used to demonstate the efficiency of Edison's Direct Current electrical supply. His work will be on show in the nearby Pennypit Centre as part of the Three Harbours Arts Festival which runs from 31st May to 8th June
